25. Chinese Triads, Mexican Cartels Killing Americans
This material largely comes from Peter Schweizer’s just-released book, Blood Money. It should be alarming to every American. Lee Ann and I lost our only son, Brian, to an overdose and had to pick up his electrical engineering degree from the University of Virginia posthumously. To the leadership of America, this must stop.

In any of these three years, we have lost more civilians than were lost in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan combined!

China & the CCP’s dependence on Opioid began in the 1950s right after the Communist party took control in 1949. In July of 1958, Swiss Officials seized heroin from China worth "$30 to $50 million. . .In the early 1960s, narcotics officials report that opium from Red China had intensified and is being channeled into the United States at several major ports." - Amnesty International China 2022.

In 1992, then-Senator Joe Biden, who was serving his fourth term and was the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, convened hearings on drug trafficking and China, stating: "China has become a major trafficking route. . . and is poised to become the linchpin of the heroin trade." - The New Heroin Corridor: joint hearing between the Judiciary Committee and Caucus on International Narcotics. 192nd Congress, 1992. Although Joe Biden recognized it, he never went further with the Chinese.

"Obama came into office wanting to deemphasize the war on drugs. In 2009 he removed the drug czar . . .from his cabinet. He deemphasized drug fighting in his foreign policy. Burma, a long-known center of the international drug trade with Chinese involvement, saw economic sanctions removed by the Obama administration. . .Jeffrey Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks Animation, was Obama’s largest fundraiser for both 2008 and 2012 elections. Also, Biden has hired Jeffrey Katzenberg to lead his fundraising for the 2024 Presidential race.

In Northern Mexico, some two thousand Chinese nationals work assembling fentanyl and methamphetamine precursors at port Manzanillo and Puerto de Lazaro in Mexico and other ports which the Chinese completely control. The operations of both ports are controlled and operated by Hutchison, owned by Li Ka-shing with ties to the Chinese triads." - Blood Money ps. 23-24.

The absence of strong leadership in America for decades is evident by our repeated failure to identify Communist China as a participant and a huge economic beneficiary in growing, assembling, and trafficking deadly drugs (recently fentanyl) with the Mexican cartels. The co-mingling of personal monetary gain by past presidents and politicians has superseded America's best interest for decades. Chinese triad activity has killed hundreds of thousands of young Americans and has significantly worsened with the open border. The leadership of both parties over decades is culpable. Rewarding China with hundreds of billions of dollars of drug blood money each year while killing young Americans, with no accountability. This must be stopped!
